Don’t carry around large amounts of
cash; instead carry traveler’s checks or credit cards.
If you do take travelers checks be sure and record the serial number,
denomination and location of the bank that issued them, keep this
information in a safe place. Having this information will make it easier
to get your travelers check replaced if they are lost or stolen.
Take only the credit cards you need and will use on vacation with
you. If you don’t have your card number memorized record the numbers of
the credit cards you do take and keep the list of numbers in a safe
place.
